Emergency Heating: Hospital Supplied with Heating Container
On a chilly day, two boiler systems in the hospital had previously failed and needed to be replaced. To ensure the heat supply, an eight-person team of master craftsmen, plant mechanics, and electricians installed a heating container with a capacity of 1 MW.
Secure Access Ensured
The careful coordination and collaboration between the various trades of the team were crucial to the success of this project. Several steps were necessary to connect the emergency heating system to the existing heating system. First, the pavement of the hospital access road had to be removed to lay the hoses into the basement. With the help of safety measures and heavy-duty plates, the team ensured a secure access route to the hospital. The involvement of a road or civil engineer was therefore not necessary. This approach saved valuable time and provided a rapid solution to the urgent problem.
