Major Deployment by the Fire Department
According to Merkur.de, 200 firefighters from across the Dachau and Fürstenfeldbruck districts were deployed to the scene. They evacuated nearby buildings, some of which were partially affected by the fire, and continued extinguishing efforts until the early morning hours. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
Local Administration Without Heating
The fire, the cause of which remains unknown, not only destroyed a residential house and an agricultural building but also damaged a small district heating network. Homes and the local administration connected to this network were left without heating.
120 kW: Mobile Heating Successfully Installed
Mobile Wärme 24 delivered a 120-kW heating unit and a 5,000-liter auxiliary tank to Sulzemoos. Amid the wreckage, the technicians connected the unit and brought it into operation. With their usual reliability, they ensured that the affected residents were supplied with heat until the district heating network is repaired.
While cleanup operations, repairs, and investigations continue, Mobile Wärme 24 is providing heating for the affected buildings. In the midst of the chaos, we were able to bring a sense of normalcy back to the people of Sulzemoos.
